Marmadukes Full English – sweet chilli sausage, dry cured bacon, fried egg, thyme roasted tomato, field mushroom, homemade beans, toasted sourdough – £9.80 – James
Eggs Benedict – English muffin, Yorkshire ham, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce – £8.50 – Jessica
We just couldn’t stay away from Sheffield and we are back to get all of the things we missed out on over New Year! Our first stop was here, Marmaduke’s, as we arrived early enough for it to still be breakfast.
Only been here once before, but had to repeat what I had last time as it was good! You can read about our last visit here.
Latte – £3.20
It’s not often you get to say the baked beans were the best part of a full English, but today was one of them days! They were homemade and spicy, like I’ve never had before. They should definitely be more of a thing!
Spice was also on the menu for Jessica, with a particularly punchy hollandaise sauce. And that runny egg looked sumptuous from where I was sitting!
It set us up perfectly for the day ahead, where we found ourselves at Meadowhall for a spot of shopping, and to the cinema followed by our next meal, which you can read about in our next post…
