Following on from our review of KETTLE® Chips’ addition to their range of flavours with Chorizo, Feta and Olive, we were fortunate enough to be sent their brand new seasoning to try out. This time it was to be Baked Camembert and Oak Smoked Garlic.
It has just been launched in time for winter and Christmas, and from our try of them, we can highly recommend you get these stocked in your cupboard for a great nibble over the festive period.
But the chips is only the beginning. Not only were we sent a large bag of the KETTLE® Chips, but also an oven proof ceramic pot to bake our own camembert. You want to bake the camembert so it has fully melted and you can get a healthy scoop for each bite. As cheese lovers that we are, this took the flavour and enjoyment to the next level, and with the hand cooked quality that KETTLE® Chips* brings, it was a dream. They were so moreish!
The seasoning in the KETTLE® Chips weren’t overwhelming, although each of the flavours could definitely be identified. The oak smoking could definitely be detected, whilst the cheese and garlic complimented it well. It allowed for the set aside baked camembert to steal the show, just as we wanted!
As always, the KETTLE® Chips quality shines through and sets itself apart from the others next to it on the supermarket shelf. From the thickness, crunchiness and flavour, you can clearly tell that the ingredients are the best out there.
We honestly believe that if you are looking for a post Christmas lunch or Boxing Day snack, this is the way to go!
