Event: Brunching Bloggers at Annie's Restaurant

Eggs Royale - Smoked Salmon, Free Range Eggs, English Muffin, Hollandaise & Home Fries

On Saturday 21st October, Ashlee Moyo and I, Jessica, have organised our very first #BrunchingBloggers event!

Brunching Bloggers was born to bring bloggers together, eat good food (obviously) and networking. What makes us special? We encourage diversity. We want to involve every blogger niche, people of colour and all genders. It doesn't matter how many followers you have, how much or little you blog, we just want to widen the bloggersphere and break the clichΓ©s.

And so we have it, the first of many #BrunchingBloggers at Annie's.

Tucked away by the river in Chiswick, Annie's refers themselves as the perfect little home-from-home and I'm sure you can all agree with the interior of this restaurant, it has that vibrant feel all houses should or want to be.

Annie's had provided us with a personal menu, specially for this Brunching Bloggers event, it gave it that special touch and we really felt looked after.

Breakfast Martini & Bucks Fizz

As we all got to know each other, explaining each of our blogs, following each other on socials, we all started with some breakfast cocktails. Most of us decided on the Breakfast Martini, purely based on the name. Wouldn't you? It was brunch time and it only seemed right, but we all agreed that it was way too strong for our liking so early in the morning, surprisingly. A hell of a lot of gin, if it were a few hours later in the day, it would have been perfect.

Eggs Royale & Annie's Full Monty

The food was absolutely delicious, 3 of us, including myself got the eggs royal, 1 of us got the eggs Florentine and 4 of us got the Annie's full monty.

Annie's full monty caught my eye, but I just knew I wouldn't be able to finish it, but I know who would. The poached eggs on my eggs Royale was perfection. Who doesn't love a good yolk porn?

I had seem to be the only person who ended having their coffee but we still ended up having short of time to finish of conversation, as our time for the table was up. Although, it didn't end there, typically we took very instagramable photos outside Annie's.

Thank you Annie's for hosting our first #BrunchingBloggers.
I am sure we will return, as I definitely need to take James here.

Keep your eyes peeled for our next annual collaboration event, #ChristmasBloggersGiveback on Saturday 16th December, make sure to follow our socials, including @bloggersareus_ for more updates!

  4. The food here looks absolutely glorious! 😍 I'm with you on the yolk porn haha, there's nothing better than plunging your toast into a gooey runny yolk! Mmmm! It's lovely that you encouraged so many diverse bloggers to meet up as well, I'm sad that I live further away from London now - the trains are so expensive that it's hard to come regularly!! Hopefully an event will coincide with one of my future London museum study days so that I can come along!

  5. Wow, it looks absolutely stunning here, I love the cushions - they make it much more homely and cute! The food looks absolutely delicious and like you, I would definitely struggle to drink cocktails early in the morning, even if they are very aptly named..
