Event: Coffee & Breakfast @ Weanie Beans

A while back, we were kindly invited to Weanie Beans roastery for a healthy breakfast and freshly roasted coffee by the lovely Jess from @JessEatingEast, who is also Weanie Beans' operations manager.

Unfortunately, James had other plans prior to this event and couldn't attend but I, Jessica, was not passing up the chance for breakfast and unlimited coffee! So, instead of completely attending alone, I thought it would be so good to invite a fellow friend, Ashlee, who also blogs at www.ashleemoyo.blogspot.co.uk (@AshleeMoyo)

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jess herself. Walking into the room, oh the smells, if only you could smell the beauty of all that freshly made coffee! We were introduced to the owner, Adeline and the roaster, Pepe, followed by many other blogger and non blogger attendees.

Events like these are my favourite, smaller and more intimate, that it makes it easier to talk and connect to everyone around, especially with the calm morning atmosphere, it was the perfect event.

Already in love? Find out more about Weanie Beans here.

For breakfast, the variety of choices and toppings for my very first ever yogurt bowl. I started with The Collective's raspberry yoghurt as my base, topped off one half with the chia seeds boarded with blue berries then with the Troo Granola and some crushed raspberries by Jess and a little strawberry to complete (photo above)

Ashlee commented on how this had been the healthiest breakfast she's had in a while and I must agree, with all these greasy Full English breakfasts we've had recently, this was definitely a change and something we'd like to continue in the future.

Apart from the coffee, I must add that although not mentioned above in my yoghurt bowl, my absolute favourite was The Collective coffee yoghurt! I must get my hands on one for James to try, it's just honestly the best thing ever!

It had made me want to have more breakfasts like this more, especially paired with such good coffee.

The coffee of course was amazing, we both had a flat white and to anyone who can do coffee art, I am in awe, the talent and it's just such a special touch. The coffee was so good, perfect temperature and so smooth, James would have definitely approved.

Where can you drink this amazing coffee I hear you say? See the list of places here.

Couldn't wait to get home at check out the little goodie bag, which included a packet of Chia Bia Seed, a The Primal Pantry bar, The Collective yoghurt voucher, Troo Granola tin, Aduna Moringa sachet and Weanie Beans Hot Chocolate and freshly roasted Coffee for James to try for himself at home!

Thank you so much Weanie Beans for the invitation, it has been so lovely to meet you all and try your product!
