#FBbloggerseries: @jesseatingeast

Welcome to the Food & Baker food blogger series, which every blogger, vlogger, tweeter is welcome because what human being doesn't like food(!?) This is a just a simple, quick and fun series of food related questions to just to get to know each other and meet new bloggers!

We are super grateful to everyone who are involved! Let's get started!

Introduction:

My name is Jess and my blog is Eating East, I eat out in East London and write about it.

Why did you start blogging?

I moved to East London five years ago from a small town, and my eyes were opened to the huge variety of cuisines on offer. My curiosity lead me around discovering new foods and my friends recommended that maybe I write my findings down (not waffle on to them about it).

Three Random Facts

1. I am a trained scuba dive instructor.
2. I have a shot gun and air rifle.
3. I cycle everywhere.

If you could travel anywhere in the world purely for its food, where would you go?

It has to be Italy, every region is so proud of the food they produce, if I had the time to travel around every region eating the local produce, food heaven.

What is your favourite meal in the day and why?

I am going through a real breakfast phase at the moment, I change it up most days and I honestly think Instagram has influenced this a lot!

What would be the "out of the ordinary" thing you've eaten?

Definitely has to be piranha that I caught in Venezuela, it was awful like eating a bag of tiny bones.

Do you prefer to cook at home or eat out?

I love both, it is a constant cycle of eating out then attempting to recreate it at home, and then out again for more culinary adventures.

What's your favourite post of ours?

It has to be you favourite afternoon teas, I am a sucker for sweet food =) and afternoon tea is the ultimate treat.
