#FBbloggerseries: @jennymarston_xo

Welcome to the Food & Baker food blogger series, which every blogger, vlogger, tweeter is welcome because what human being doesn't like food(!?) This is a just a simple, quick and fun series of food related questions to just to get to know each other and meet new bloggers!

We are super grateful to everyone who are involved! Let's get started!

Introduction:

Hiya! My name is Jenny, I'm 23 years old and I'm a book and lifestyle blogger from Essex. And
no, I don't sound like I belong on TOWIE.

Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging in 2013 because I wanted a place to talk about all the books I love. I've loved
reading ever since I can remember, it's my biggest passion and I had found someone else's book blog and absolutely loved what they were doing. Although I still love reading just as much and still blog about books and write book reviews, my blog has long since expanded into lifestyle.

Three Random Facts

1. I am terrified of toads – like absolutely terrified
2. My eyes turn bright turquoise when I cry 3. I am a complete clean freak – you'll more often than not find me cleaning or tidying something.

Are you allergic to anything?

Food wise, no. But I do get very bad hayfever.

What is your most favourite meal in the world?

Oh so difficult! But it has to be a nice Chinese. We have the best Chinese takeaway near us, nothing has ever beaten it. Yet.

Are you more of a savoury or sweet kind of person?

I go through phases – sometimes I'll be super into cakes and fruit and just want to snack on chocolate all day but on a whole, I'm definitely more of a savoury person.

Do you have any weird food/eating habits?

I cut my food up with my fork in my left hand and my knife in my right hand, as normal but then when it comes to actually putting the fork with the piece of food in my mouth, I put my knife down, swap my fork into my right hand and do it that way. I've always done it and didn't realise it was weird until my boyfriend pointed it out once! I also have salad cream and ketchup with practically everything.

If you could travel anywhere in the world purely for its food, where would you go?

Oh gosh I would love to go to Japan and try proper Japanese food and sushi. I'd also love to go to America and witness their portion sizes – although I don't think I'd be able to make a dent in some of them.

What is your favourite meal in the day and why?

Hmmm, probably lunch or dinner because I make more of a meal of that. Breakfast I usually just have something quick and easy like porridge or cheerios just to get it out of the way.

What would be the "out of the ordinary" thing you've eaten?

I've been to Paris a couple of times and tried pigeon and shark... Not an experience I particularly want to remember!

Do you prefer to cook at home or eat out?

Cook at home, definitely. Over the last year, I've been experimenting more and more in the kitchen and I just love trying out new dishes now!

Recipes

I hope you don't mind me sharing my whole category but all the recipes I've tried out myself are logged here: https://jennyinneverland.com/category/reviews/food/ and I only blog about the ones that actually went well! Of course...

What's your favourite post of ours?

I love your post and vlog about Cadbury World! I would love to go there!
