#FBbloggerseries: @AITKitchen_Blog

Welcome to the Food & Baker food blogger series, which every blogger, vlogger, tweeter is welcome because what human being doesn't like food(!?) This is a just a simple, quick and fun series of food related questions to just to get to know each other and meet new bloggers!

We are super grateful to everyone who are involved! Let's get started!

My name is Andrew and I am a food writer, blogger and recipe developer. I'm 18 years old and I am (at the time of writing, my A-Level results have not been published) hoping to do a maths degree at Nottingham University.

Why did you start blogging?

I started my blog during my GCSEs when I did my coursework on The Great British Bake Off and it's been the best thing I've done. I've always dreamed of cooking on TV and having my own cooking show and I hope that one day, the blog will get me there. For now though, I'm happy getting my recipes out in the Twittersphere.

Three Random Facts

1. I have been going (and will continue to go) to Zumba classes for over 4 years. It's such good fun, I've made lots of friends and do randomly burst into a dance routine if the right music comes on - yes I am that person!
2. When I went on a school trip in Year 6 to Manchester, I ended up breaking my foot...
3. In the past 2 years, I have baked 2 dessert buffets for 120 people.

Are you allergic to anything?

I'm allergic to fish and shellfish and I absolutely will not eat mushrooms as they make me feel sick!

Are you more a savoury or sweet person?

Definitely sweet, especially in terms of my blog, I blog savoury recipes about once every 2 months and most of my baking/cooking tends to be sweet stuff.

Do you have any weird food/eating habits?

I eat tomatoes but I don't eat tomato ketchup. I know there are people who are like me and there are people who are the opposite

If you could travel anywhere in the world purely for its food, where would you go?

It has to be Hong Kong. I recently took a 2 week holiday there back in July and I blogged all about it; everyone seemed to be jealous of the food which is cheap and delicious; you can't go anywhere without having something that you can buy to eat!

What is your favourite meal in the day and why?

Breakfast can be sweet and savoury, cooked or raw, in a bowl or on a plate. I'm currently obsessed with Aldi's
Tropical Granola with Greek Yogurt for my breakfast but I never used to have breakfast when I went to school, I just didn't have time!

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Coffee and walnut cake or lemon drizzle cake. That is all.

Recipe: Dark Chocolate Teacakes with Marshmallow Meringue, Maltesers and Mr Toms!
