#FBbloggerseries: @micahaslee

Welcome to the Food & Baker food blogger series, which every blogger, vlogger, tweeter is welcome because what human being doesn't like food(!?) This is a just a simple, quick and fun series of food related questions to just to get to know each other and meet new bloggers!

We are super grateful to everyone who are involved! Let's get started!

Introduction:

Hi! I’m Micah Lee, the owner of the blog www.MicahALee.com (formerly, YoursTrulyMicah) although it is still currently under construction and will be running at the end of September!

What kind of blog do you have? My blog ranges from a variety of beauty, fashion and lifestyle posts!

Why did you start blogging? From a very young age I would create my own sites (i.e. on sites such as Matmice which sadly closed down) and I would write posts discussing my interests. As time evolved, I discovered bigger platforms I could do this on – blogger. I was mostly inspired by my favourite YouTubers’ blogs, I felt as though I got to know them more on their blog as opposed to their videos as it seemed a little more personal. I love to read and write, it’s always been a hobby of mine so that’s a bonus. So I thought, if they can do it then so can I!

Three Random Facts
1. I love sweet potato, at the weekends I’m always dragging my boyfriend to restaurants where they serve it lol

2. I’m a bookworm; I’m always reading on my kindle. My Uni course requires a lot of reading too so I’m used to constantly reading something

3. I can be a clean freak, the littlest dirt – dust for e.g. – really bugs me and I can’t function properly if the room isn’t clean enough

Are you more of a savoury or sweet kind of person? Definitely sweet! Too sweet in fact.

What is your favourite meal in the day? Breakfast, I love breakfast food – cereal and bread are by far my favourite. I’m a big fan of dairy and breakfast is full of that.

What would be the “out of the ordinary” thing you’ve eaten? It’s not so much the food but the combination, I like to dip my oranges in apple cider vinegar. My dad taught me that combination and it works really well, it tastes good to me anyway and I know so many people would disagree. Or mango and salt? A lot of Filipinos love that combination!

If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life what would it be? Sweet potato fries!!

Whats your favourite post of ours?
Probably the ‘Tips and Tricks: How We Survived a ‘Long Distance’ Relationship.'

It may not be relatable to me, but the tips you provided, i.e. ‘don’t lost yourself’
can apply to people who also aren’t in long distance relationships. It’s incredibly
insightful when bloggers give advice, not only does it help people but it makes
you more open minded when you see someone else’s point of view.

Thank you for letting me be part of this, I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward
to seeing the final piece!
