Event: Blogger Meet Up #BloggerPitP @ Hyde Park, London

Since achieving a decent amount of success with our blog, we have come to realise that the blogging community is full of wonderful people, who have given us the love and support that make blogging and vlogging so much fun!

But of course, our communication with them is frustratingly restricted to Instagram comments and tweets - until today. 4 of of the girls who until now we have only spoken to via Twitter, decided to host a picnic in Hyde Park. We came to realise in the days running up to it that this however would be no ordinary picnic...

Hats off to the ladies for making everything and everywhere so visually attractive with small details such as the bunting, chalk boards and a tremendous amount of food. Everybody who came contributed something, including the famous Rocky Road's from Sarah (which we are currently eating as we type) however the majority of it came from Benugo - who very kindly supplied us with sandwiches, cakes and muffins, amongst others treats from Milkado, Robinsons, Oreo, Ritz, Proper Corn, Only Be Nature, Lily O'Brien's and Vita Coco

Everything from the bunting from Interior Goods, to the blankets from Hammam Havlu and flowers from Bloom and Wild and decorations from Talking Tables, to the snacks to the juice was provided to us all, which we thought was absolutely amazing! It has certainly made us want to explore working with brands more in the future, because we, as was everyone else there, truly impressed to say the very least.

Fear struck as we woke up this morning to see what could be considered torrential rain, however this miraculously blew over to reveal a semi-blue sky, which we were of course very pleased about. It was a bit windy which made leaves a bit of an issue with so much food about, but we managed!

Our contribution to the food offerings was this Oreo Cheesecake - which we spent last night and this morning making. The pressure was on as we had told everyone we were bringing it beforehand - it had to be perfect! We think it went down very well all in all!

But that wasn't all, everybody left with a goody bag which was packed with so many cute and thoughtful items, from many different brands (named above) as well as Bassetts, Zap-It, Frezyderm, Milton, Aduna and Ape Snacks. From snacks to decorations to specially designed #BloggerPitP pencils from one of the organisers herself, @Gwennan_Rees and Illustations by @EffiSummers, it rounded off the afternoon with a very special touch (and also gave everybody yet another Pinterest/Instagram opportunity!)

We would like to end this post with a massive thank you to the organisers: SarahGwennan, Hannah and Mel and of course the lovelies Effie, Amyleigh and Nina who couldn't make it!

And of course to all the bloggers who came, it was lovely to have met you all, it is definitely one to remember!

You all did an incredible job and we hope we can do something similar again very soon!
