Lunch @ Ask Italian, The o2 Arena

Ravioli maritimi - ravioli stuffed with crayfish, crab, salmon and ricotta in a creamy tomato sauce. Topped with a king prawn in its shell - £11.95 - James

After conquering the o2 we were left rather hungry, and with the plethora of restaurants that are in and around the complex, we weren't going to not eat were we?

As most of the restaurants there are large chains, and having been to most of them, we were looking for one that we haven't been to yet. And here was that place. We weren't expecting anything particularly special, but it turned out we were very wrong to be thinking that way!

Jug of Pimm's - £22.95

Upon entrance the vibe and quintessential Italian atmosphere was immediately striking, and little details such as the style of the glasses (as above) made us feel that it wasn't just another large chain.

The food was super tasty and the chips were perfect too, especially with the garlic mayonnaise - perfect!

Chicken Caesar salad - pan fried chicken breast on cos lettuce with shaved Grana Padana cheese, Caesar dressing and baked Rosemary sea salt ciabatta sticks - £9.95 - Jessica

We were both feeling a cocktail or two when we arrived but Jessica has started a thing for Pimm's recently, and with it being such a beautiful summers day, it felt apt to go all out with a jug to share.
