#FBbloggerSeries: @ginevrella

Welcome to the Food & Baker food blogger series, which every blogger, vlogger, tweeter is welcome because what human being doesn't like food(!?) This is a just a simple, quick and fun series of food related questions to just to get to know each other and meet new bloggers!

We are super grateful to everyone who are involved! Let's get started!

Introduction:

I’m Jennifer, a twenty-three year old lifestyle blogger from London.

Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging in 2014 when I was left with a lot of free time during a university project. I decided to put the extra time to good use and finally create my own blog to keep track of what I get up to, while also inspiring and connecting with others.

Three Random Facts

1. I once played a Victorian Prime Minister in an episode of a children’s TV history programme!
2. I’ve just qualified as a doctor.
3. I’m really, really bad at watching TV series – I’m like the opposite of a binge-watcher!

Are you allergic to anything?

Nope, lucky me!

What is your most favourite meal in the world?

This is such a tough question and really depends on my mood. Can  I cheat and say a big summer buffet with all kinds of tasty salads, breads, cheeses and vegetables?!

Are you more of a savoury or sweet kind of person?

Oh sweet, definitely. Except popcorn. There I like to sit right in the middle with sweet ‘n’ salty.

Do you have any weird food/eating habits?

Not that I can think of. I always try to finish with a mouthful of whatever the best tasting thing on the plate is, but that’s not weird, right?!

If you could travel anywhere in the world purely for its food, where would you go?

South Africa was amazing for food, but if I was to go anywhere it would have to be France. You can’t beat a proper baguette and some cheese!

What is your favourite meal in the day, and why?

Breakfast – I like being inventive with it when I have the time. I love the options for a brunch too – but I always prefer it earlier rather than later anyway!

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

No – don’t make me choose! I get bored of foods really quickly so this would be a nightmare. Variety is the spice of life people!

What would be the "out of the ordinary" thing you've eaten?

I don’t think I’ve eaten anything all that strange…

Do you prefer to cook at home or eat out?

I love cooking at home, perfecting new recipes and adapting things to exactly how I like them, but you can’t beat having someone else do all the work! Plus I’m not all that talented in the kitchen, unlike the professionals.

Share a Recipe: Chocolate & Almond Cake

Since starting my blog, I’ve been inspired to try out all kinds of recipes and share them online. I’ve especially enjoyed baking along to the Great British Bake Off and attempting their tasks. I also baked this delicious chocolate, almond and orange cake to eat while watching the final. It’s a favourite now!

What is your favourite post of ours?
