#FBbloggerseries: @abbeylouisarose

Welcome to the Food & Baker food blogger series, which every blogger, vlogger, tweeter is welcome because what human being doesn't like food(!?) This is a just a simple, quick and fun series of food related questions to just to get to know each other and meet new bloggers!

We are super grateful to everyone who are involved! Let's get started!

Introduction

Hello! My name is Abbey Louisa Rose and I'm a 21-year-old newbie blogger and archaeologist from the East of England. I am using my blog to document a summer of fun before I head off to start my Masters degree in Classical Archaeology at Oxford University. My blog is a big mix of everything, showcasing my travels, creative projects, thoughts and feelings, as well as a few lifestyle posts.

Why did you start blogging?

I really wanted to continue writing between finishing my undergraduate degree and starting my Masters, and a blog seemed like the perfect way to do it! One day, I randomly stumbled across a blogger’s Twitter page online and it looked like so much fun that I had to get involved!

Three Random Facts

1. Before the age of 16, I’d never attended school! 2. I can fly a plane!
3. Jenna Marbles follows me on Twitter

Are you allergic to anything?

This is a weird one – I’m allergic to Christmas trees! The real ones that you have in your living room at Christmas. It’s a bit like being allergic to fun, really! I come out in a big rash if I go anywhere near one! We always have a synthetic tree in my home because of me!

What is your most favourite meal in the world?

Cheese! I adore everything from cheese on toast, to cheese and biscuits after dinner, and of course, macaroni cheese! My all time favourite cheese is Wensleydale and Cranberry – I am basically real-life Wallace from Wallace and Gromit!

If you could travel anywhere in the world purely for its food, where would you go?

Greece for sure! They have amazing salads, and if you haven’t tried a gyros, you haven’t lived! Gyros consists of rotisserie meat (usually lamb) wrapped up in a flatbread with salad and tzatziki sauce. It is absolutely delicious!

What is your favourite meal in the day?  And why?

Definitely dinner! I struggle to eat in the mornings as often I just feel sick! I enjoy a hearty meal at the end of the day, especially since when I’m at home, my family always eat together at the table every night of the week. It’s nice to catch up with them all at the dinner table and spend quality time together.

Do you prefer to cook at home or eat out?

I much prefer to cook at home. At home I can always have exactly what I want, in the portion size that I want, and cooked in the way I like best! I also really enjoy cooking for myself; I find it therapeutic after a long day!

What is your favourite post of ours?

Your Vlog No.5, ‘But It’s a Bum Bum’ is so much fun! I really enjoy watching it. The editing is brilliant, the music fits in so well, there are some truly hilarious moments, and the trampoline place you guys went to looks like an amazing night!
We would like to continue this series for as long as you all want to participate, so if you would like to take part in our blogger series, please do drop us an email on foodandbaker@gmail.com and we will send you back the details.
