Dinner @ Shabu Shabu - Kensington High Street, London

Rainbow roll - avocado and cucumber roll topped with a variety of sliced fish, prawn nigiri and sliced avocado - £12.99

Okay, so slight change of plan - we didn't go home. We decided to look around Whole Foods Market which was just down the road, and wander upstairs where there are plenty of restaurants. One of which, Jessica's Mum and cousin both work at, and luckily Kuya John was there and we spotted him working.

Prawn tempura crunch roll - prawn tempura, cucumber, spring onion, spicy mayo, sesame seed & teriyaki sauce topped with tempura crunch - £11.99

We never planned to eat here but he convinced us to come back once we had built up an appetite again. So after a quick spree in H&M where Jessica bought 4 tops, we returned to eat this wonderful sushi, which was made directly in front of us by Kuya John and his fellow chef.

Classic miso soup - made fresh daily with silken tofu, wakame seaweed and spring onions - £2.99

Even better, this was on Kuya John so thank you very much! It was much appreciated - and you may think we have spent so much today, but really, breakfast was a present from Grandma, afternoon tea was paid for a while ago when we booked on Groupon, and now dinner was on Kuya John! So not a bad day at all!

Tortilla chips, guacamole and tomato salsa

However as we are quite early, we bought these from the market downstairs  as we all know how much we love tortillas and especially guacamole! So we took these home and ate them whilst having a chilled night watching movies!
