Florence + the Machine @ Apple Festival, Roundhouse

Firstly, let me express the excitement of winning these tickets - I NEVER WIN ANYTHING! To be honest, I didn't really know who she was, okay, let me explain a little bit..

I am not exactly a super music person, I like music, but I don't have a particular type I like, if it sounds nice or fits in with my mood - so be it. I will never know the names of songs, let alone who the artist is. So yeah, that's me basically.

For the record though, I did know about 3 of her songs - okay, I knew the chorus of them :D

Anyway, other than Ed Sheeran, I haven't been to any one else or been to any type of music festival - nothing like that and since James and I are such opposite people, he is. So who better to experience with the person you love, doing what he loves.

Oh and James Bay was meant to opening act for her, but sadly, he fell sick with the flu. Sad times! But hopefully he gets better on time because we're going to see HIM NEXT, ON FRIDAY!

Although, I didn't know much songs, I really did enjoy myself! I get why people go, especially if it's to see someone you love and know their songs!

It is definitely an experience!

Surprise Flowers & Donuts for lunch

How cute is James!?

Since it's Monday, I had to go back to work, but James is staying until tomorrow morning, due to us going to see Florence & the Machine tonight, as I won tickets to see them for the apple music festival!

So while I was at work, james went out for a while and came back on time for my lunch - I get home and he gives me donuts and flowers! He knows the way to my heart - DONUTS! Hahaha

He also dropped my back to work and even picked me up when I finished. Such a babe.

What have I done to deserve him pls!?

Bowling @ Bloomsbury Lanes, Russell Sq

We were split into two groups - the group I was in, James & I tied together and Zedrick won, but really, I just wanted to beat James hahaha

We both got 63, not exactly the highest score but you know, with my broken hand and all, hahah the excuses!

Although James & I were full we couldn't help but share a slice of pizza - baring in mind the slice itself was bigger than my head!

After bowling, we went to the birthday boys house for more food! Filipino food and to drink! Turn up! Haha I had work the next day but I still stayed until 1!

I didn't get drunk, neither did James - I think he's just used to it now, the alcoholic!

PS - Add me on snapchat: Jessicab19

Brunch @ Mike's cafe, Portobello Road

Today is my uncles birthday, as well as a friend of ours - my uncle was just having a family gathering/drinking session at the house but our friend was going out for bowling ten back at his, we ended up going to our friends because he had already paid for us to go bowling.

Again, James & I had a real lazy lie in, only started getting ready at 1. I was super hungry, so I told him about this cafe I wanted to take him to, which I've been there once before for my 20th birthday as a treat.

We was tight on time but ugh it was so worth it! Steak and eggs, can't resist that now, can you!? So filling and tasty and so worth the money! We are definitely going to back!

Prices & information below:

Steak & Eggs
Price: £10.95

Dinner @ Grandma's house

I am fully aware that this is not one of our typical food pictures - Filipino food and plastic plates! Yaaas!

As said in my previous post, it is my dads birthday and if you don't know Filipinos - we do love a good party, but food is the most important part!!

Regardless if you're hungry or not - it is disrespectful not to eat! So we ate again! Mmmm filipino food!

Food listed below:
Fried chicken
(And rice)

After, James & I went to the cinema to watch 'The Visit' - omg I nearly cried, I really didn't want to watch it anymore!

Coffee @ Second Cup, Portobello Road

James & I had the most laziest morning, to be fair, we deserved a lie in! We got up at like 1:45pm.

Last night James arrived at 9:28pm and from there, we went straight to a friends house (well she's my cousins cousin?) it was her house warming type party - it wasn't far from where we already was, but it was hard to find, and it was so long, my cousin came to pick us up and everything - we didn't end up getting auntie the place until like 10:30.

Vibes and drinks flowing, before you know it - it was past last train times and my cousin had been drinking - there was no way of going home. Drama happened - not with James & I but, long story short, we got an Uber home at 4am.

Today is my dad's birthday. So, before heading over to see him at my grandmas (to eat food) we decided to go out for a quick coffee and something light - while writing in my dads card.

Prices & information below:

Large coffee
Price: £2 each

Our Week in Santa Susana, Spain (2015)

Day ONE:
Day one, literately start from midnight - if you followed our original posts you would know that we left straight away from an event Jessica helps organise.

We had to catch a coach to Stansted airport at 4.46 am from Baker Street, as our flight to Barcelona was at 8 something in the morning. Prior to landing, we then had to catch another coach from the airport to our hotel - little did we know that was another 2 hours.

Finally, arriving at our resort, we headed straight to our room, settled in, had a shower and finally put on a change of clothes and decided to take our first adventure our to the Santa Susanna Beach.

Day TWO:
As it being an all inclusive package, we of course made sure to get up in time for breakfast, although we were not too keen on their coffee, so we decided to get some while we were out.

Whenever we went out, we always made it back in time for lunch and dinner, in this case lunch, if we hadn't already planned meals to eat our anyway - after lunch, we headed straight back out to the beach and ended up getting some dessert.

Just before dinner we wanted to shower and change from all the water and sand from the beach and played some pool after, I'm sure you can already guess who won haha

We planned this trip to Marineland after seeing it advertised in the reception of our resort and thought it was a good shout and indeed it was - lots of water slides, animals shows, sunbathing and swimming.

Luckily, with having booked it with our all inclusive resort, they provided the transportation and packed lunches, although we did buy some chips there.

We stayed until closing and took the last coach back, just in time to shower, change clothes and have dinner before heading straight back out for a walk and to find the caricature artist.

Since it was our anniversary, we decided to treat ourselves to breakfast outside of the resort (okay we woke up super late and didn't make it on time haha) and start our adventure to Barcelona!

Since we got a combo deal, which included the bus tours, that was of course the first thing we did - no time wasting as we only had planned just for one day there.

As we went around and around, we formed an appetite and got off at one of the shopping centres for some lunch. Of course, we couldn't come to spain and not have a typical Spanish dessert, churros

While we was on our tour bus, we stopped over at some places, which one was the Barcelona Football Club, which is where we got nice small beers before continuing our tour around! I believe we did two of the main tours which coevered pretty much the whole of Barcelona, we had so much fun we forgot to eat dinner (okay we had McDs but shhhhhhhhh)

To end our evening, when we came back into Santa Susanna, we found practically the only place left open for some last cocktails and take away pizza - just the way we like it.

Day FIVE:Our original plans for this day had been cancelled due to the weather, so instead we proceeded with getting our coffee, at what we ended up calling our regular place, to figure out what we could do for the day instead.

We found a few options, but we thought we would go for the dual bike, which didn't take up as much time, but was a fun idea to do just before some souvenir shopping and heading back to the resort to grab some lunch.

After lunch, we obviously headed to the beach (aim was to tan!) and ended up getting one of those massages from whoever, sounds weird but so worth the money!

Day SIX:
Our last full day here! Oh how time has flow by, although plans were changed from yesterday, we were lucky enough to had been able to go on the Jet Boat that day. The boat took us around the north coast, which stopped along the way to pick up people and we were able to stop at the last stop, where we had lunch after climbing rocks and some type of mountain hill.

We then walked along the side roads, which led us to find a few local shops, including an ice cream shop, where of course we got ice cream and sat on the beach whilst waitinf for the next boat back to Santa Susanna.

Once back at the resort, we had once again freshened up and changed before our last dinner meal and watched the last sunset of the holiday before playing a game of pool.

Honestly. you couldn't even say this was a day - our flight was around 6 am, therefore we had to book our coach back to the airport for 2:50 am.

Once we got to the airport, we obviously checked in and used our last euros for some coffee and a bite to eat before heading onto the place, to take a nice nap before arriving back in Stansted, for yet again more coach travels.

You can watch our YouTube video of the little clips we managed to record (mostly from Marineland), also find below our overall judgement of our holiday.

Beach holiday -
Flight, hotel for 6 nights, all inclusive and including transfer - all for £560 for two. As a working/student couple, why would we complain? Baring in mind, we had already read some reviews about it and let me be honest, James is a hotel snob, so I was so worried! But in the end, you get for what you paid for. The room was standard, although, there was more beds than we needed. As far as I'm concerned, the entertainment was pretty standard for the cost of the resort to begin with. I don't know why most people kicked up a fuss about the food (on trip advisor), it wasn't 5 star but it also wasn't the most terrible meals I've ever had.

There was karaoke one night, most nights there was a man with his piano, singing, there are entertainment reps who dance with the children, doing the Macarena etc and some nights they have a separate DJ outside on the terrace.

Room -
All together, we had 3 single beds, two pushed together and one on its own, separated with a bed side table. The beds were too close to the balcony door, it was a bit of a struggle but to be honest, it wasn't a big deal as we didn't spend much time in there.

There's nothing special about it. We left the room as it is, didn't pay any extra for anything and as for the air conditioning, we just left the window open and even when closed, we didn't think it was that hot but I could understand why some people would complain.

Entertainment -
Also, there is a somewhat entertainment room downstairs, where they would play children's movies, play bingo or have a quiz and some sort of disco.

Food -
Breakfast was also the same everyday - fried egg,  sausages, ham/bacon strips, baked beans, tomatoes, toast and even churros. They also have a self serve juice and coffee machine.

Lunch and dinner are mostly different from each other and slightly different from day to day.

They do have the usuals that they keep the same - like the veg pasta, chips, there was also some type of fish and meat. They even had a soup everyday.

Drinks were served in small plastic cups and you do get two at a time, so it does make up for it being one big glass. Although the drink were watered down, but hey it's unlimited!

Pool -
We didn't spend that much time by the pool - why? There's a beach 10 mins away.

There is a main pool, a shallow one for the children and a very tiny jacuzzi. As far as we could see, it was mostly children and most of the sun beds had towels on them without having anyone around them. So it didn't leave that much places to go down for.

Staff -
The staff at reception were pretty much the same people, to be honest I think they got annoyed at my partner and I with the amount of questions we had for them everyday but they always smiled and helped.

The staff at the restaurant do not crack a smile, but let's be fair, I don't blame them but it would have probably brought the vibe up a bit more. The cleaning staff are lovely, always saying good morning and smiling.

Resort -
The resort itself was big, very accessible and clean. By the reception is the entrainment room and many seating by the bar inside. There are seating areas outside along the resort.

There was an arcades area, which of course you would have to pay for, including pool.

Opposite the restaurant downstairs was another entrainment room, which I've mentioned on the entertainments part. As mentioned before, of course there was a pool, along with a pool bar.

WiFi -
As typical teenagers, we can't live with our our phones and WiFi, but again, being on holiday, we wasn't too fussed not being able to constantly be on the phone - Just wanted WiFi to upload photos and tell our families we're alive.

WiFi was not inclusive within the package, per device, it cost €5 a day or €20 for the week, there was also an option of 3 days I believe but I don't remember the price.

We only paid for one device, so after dinner, while having a drink or two, we would take turns to check our social media and talk to our families.

It reaches your room and public areas, within the resort, step outside to the terrace and it's gone, let alone at the pool, that was the only downfall to be fair.

If you need your phone constantly, I suggest you buy a roaming package with your phone line before coming.

Transportation -
As a part of the all inclusive package, there is also a mini train/bus which takes you to and from the beach and back to the hotel for free. This usually runs from 9am to 10pm.

Although, if you would like to do the mountain tour within the same train, it would cost €4.90 each.

Also, by the beach is the Santa Susanna train station, which could also take you more places including Barcelona - it would take about an hour and 10 minutes and not too expensive either.

I would recommend that if you did choose to go to Barcelona, to go with the COMBO DEAL for €27 each, which includes the tour bus there and the train fare (which basically saves you the money it cost for a return ticket back)

Beach -
The beach is quite stony, but it's not too bad. There are sun beds and umbrellas for ridiculous prices, but I know some people brought there own or simply took a towel to rest on.

You will come across many people who will try to sell you clothes and sunglasses - it does get annoying but we all have to earn money some way. There is also a man who sells fresh coconuts, he loves to shout.

Also, there are some people who come around asking if you would like a massage. I was sceptical about this but my partner & I each had one €5 for 10mins for just the back - I am telling you it was amazing and so worth it! I would actually recommend it if you are in serious pain or just want to relax.

Overall, we got what we paid for. Due to the fact that we only stayed in the hotel to sleep, shower and eat, it was fine. If you're paying to go on holiday to just stay at the hotel, this hotel would not be for you. It also gave us more advantage to spend more money on activities and meals out of the hotel!

Last Sunset @ Santa Susanna, Spain - Day 6

After dinner, we obviously did the usual - we got some drinks - unlimited alcohol yas! We've drank everyday since we've been here - heck we're on holiday! I turned James into an alcoholic haha

I saw the sunset from inside and it was a must to sit outside and enjoy it since it was our last night.

Our flight is at 6 something in the morning, so we had to check out and leave the hotel at 2:50am to get to the hotel 2 hours before the flight. It was a real mission to stay awake, we did take a nap though :D

We obviously had to play our last game of pool.

Side note: James won on Tuesday night. We did plan to play on our anniversary but we came too late!

Okay, so no surprise here but I won. Like duh. Hahahaha let me have my moment okay because I never used to win when we played in Sheffield!

Dinner @ Santa Susanna Resort, Spain - Day 6

Our last dinner in Spain! I was actually happy with it - James got steak and chips and I got cannoli, broccoli and chips.

Funny story, James went to get us drinks and I went up to get broccoli (before the chips) and some random lady gave me a proud speech about eating my vegetables and how my mama would be proud of me. Haha I was confused but actually made me feel gassed - then I waited for her to leave to get my chips mwahahhaha

Of course I had to do one last evening change. I actually bought two of these dress - this red one and a white one. I never got wear them on our holiday - my dress change for our anniversary didn't happen and since it was the last night - it was a must.

Side note: James & I had taken this picture (above) in front of the lift and a lift selfie, every single day since we got there!

And, I'm proud of my tan :D

Ice cream @ Tossa De Mar, Costa Brava - Day 6

Ice cream by the beach? Oh yeah! James and I have been banging on about having ice cream in this hot weather - okay so fair enough I had some sort of ice cream before but you know, having ice cream like this. Yes.

James got strawberry and whenever I get the chance, of course I'm going to get pistachio mmmmm I love it so much!? Someone tell me where I can find good pistachio ice cream in London!

We walked back to the beach and ate it there. We still had a while until the next boat back, so we laid down and.. accidentally fell asleep.

I woke up in complete shock thinking we missed the last boat but we didn't. We just ended moving closer to the spot we needed to be.

4:30 and I was not a happy bunny, being woken up and to be honest the sun was giving me a headache. I felt sick, so it didn't help that we had to sit at the bottom of the boat and I just felt ugh. I slept though it all, although I did wake up a few times. Poor James.

Lunch @ Tossa De Mar, Costa Brava - Day 6

On our way back down to the beach, we found this side restaurant which goes down along the side of the pavement, which also had a view of the beach/sea.

Since we didn't have our pasta on our anniversary, we both agreed for pasta today. James got carbonara and I had some seafood one - I do love my seafood! We shared of course.

Side note: James took this photo - his first official contribution to this blog hahah

I asked him to take it because from where I was, half of our table was shaded and it didn't look nice haha

After lunch, we walked around the area to see what it had to offer.

This picture was actually taken before we had lunch, but I really like it and I wanted to share it :D

Jet Boat @ Santa Susanna, Spain - Day 6

Due to yesterday's bad waves or something - we took the risk in waking up super early again and see if we can get on the boat today and WE DID! I was so happy, it just seemed like the best thing to do on our full last day!

We took the earlier boat slot today 9:30, it wasn't busy and we managed to get good seats - the purpose of this boat ride was to see the coast of Costa Brava which took about 2 hours, as we did do stop offs for more people to come.

At one point before our "last stop" to get off - we was able to go under the boat where it was glass to see the fishes etc.

Once we got to Tossa De Mar, we walked up this mountain castle looking thing, took lots of pictures - it was a serious mission in that heat but the view at the top was so worth it!

The clear blue sky and water. Ugh, you would never get that view in the UK, so it was breath taking.

Lunch @ Santa Susanna Resort, Spain - Day 5

Who does James thinks he is making me look like a fatter cow than I am already, eating salad and I'm there with my meat and chips (with a bit of salad) um let me add that he did get another plate of proper food after - so haha

You can't go wrong with a bit of steak and chips - oh and James and I were eating like pig this whole week, you think we just have the one plate? Naaaah we made most of that food! Tried everything! I swear that man picking up the plates from the tables must have hated us!

After lunch we went straight back to the beach, obviously had to top up the tan I already had!

So, here's a little background story before I move on to the next subject - for the past week while eve been at the beach, you know you have those people selling sunglasses and clothes, even offering massages - it was annoy that someone every two minutes will come up to you but you know, you gotta do what you gotta do to survive.

Anyway, so while we were at the beach today - James offered to massage me, so yeah yeah, good stuff, than all of a sudden I feel like a different feel to the massage, evidently not him obviously (no offence haha)

So, then I was like fuck it, just do it. And ugh, it was amazing! €5 for a back massage for 10 minutes - why not and it was damn well worth it! James had one as well after. Mm good stuff! I could do with another.

Dual bike @ Santa Susanna, Spain - Day 5

In the end, we found something to do and it was actually fun, first time going on this side by side dual bike thing, and it was pretty cheap - €5 for both of us for half an hour.

To be fair, there wasn't much places we could go without having to ring the bell every second for people to move. James was the main driver and he just rebelled against me and went on the pavement, even when I told him not to sigh (only one side can stir, the other one is fake haha)

We were glad to just had half an hour, we could have done an hour for €10 but it's tiring you know!

Although, half the time I didn't do anything mwahahhaha I'm a spoilt brat when it comes to James, but he loves me anyway!

It was still too early to go back for lunch, so we window shopped for souvenirs and planned to come back after lunc to buy them.

Coffee @ Santa Susanna, Spain - Day 5

Breakfast is the same very morning, so there's no need to post it again, and coffee is still the same, so here we are again but - this time I got a iced coffee with ice cream - omg can I just say that their vanilla ice cream is the real shit ugh *drools*

James & I woke up super early because a few days ago, like the amazing planners we are, we had already organised to go on this boat trip, that goes along the coast of Costa Brava.

Our slot would have been 9:45 but unfortunately, the waves weren't on our side, it wasn't good for sailings basically - so that was out plans gone. Sigh.

We ended up walking around the beach for a bit and to the information centre to see what else we could do.

I did want to go back to the hotel and sleep but that is not what we came for!

Cocktails @ Santa Susanna, Spain - Day 4

We made it back in time! The only thing we didn't manage to do was get dinner there - it was very tight for time. Not to mention it took us an hour and 10 minutes to get back.

We found somewhere that was still open to eat and to drink. We both wanted pasta, so we ordered a ravioli to share, as well as getting two tequila sunrises.

So we were there - waiting and waiting, I getting bitten ALL OVER MY LEGS - from them so say their kitchen is closed, wtf after all that waiting? And we could only get pizza to take away..

Meh, so pizza is what we got. Took it back to the hotel room and ate it there. Haha as non-romantic as some of you may think, but to me, this was a better way of ending our anniversary - eating pizza together in bed!

It really was an amazing day, like every other day were together! Thank you James!

Beer @ Nou Camp, Barcelona, Spain - Day 4

As James being the football lover he is, of course we had to stop by the Barcelona football club, we got off the tour bus and walked through - we didn't go inside but we found some shops and food places to eat - so we both got a beer.

Can you tell how excited James was? Hahaha

Side note: I should think about investing a camera for these blog pictures hmm

My iPhone and self timer did not do the sky or view any justice and the fountain at the back wasn't on at the time - I do believe there is some type of show for it at a certain time but we didn't get to see it due to timing issues.

If you saw the amount of stairs we went up to get to the top - you would appalled us.. Okay, we did half and took the escalator up haha to the next red route stop to continue near enough from where we first got on from.

It was already getting dark and late - the last train back to Santa Susanna was at 10:30 - it was 8:40 and it would take another hour to get back around to the city centre, we didn't want to risk it.

Churros @ Barcelona, Spain - Day 4

While at in the city centre, we walked around and of course, is being us, we needed desert and what better desert than Spanish Churros with chocolate!?

I had been to this restaurant before and how wonderful it was to already have been connected to their wifi! Haha

We were stuffed - walked around a bit more and then got back on the tour bus. At this point of the tour, we was able to change routes, so we changed to the blue route, which took us to Sangrada Familia (below)

This was the first photo out of the whole holiday we had asked someone to take a picture of us.

Unfortunately, we didn't go inside, James wasn't as fussed and I had already been in before. Maybe next time if and when we go to Barcelona again.

Although, I must say the outside itself is just mind blowing - the inside is just amazing! I do think it's worth going inside.

Lunch @ Barcelona, Spain - Day 4

Finally, after a long wait, touring around for about 30 minutes, we stopped at the shopping centre to eat.

Of course, you can't go to Spain and not eat something Spanish, so we both agreed on Paella.

LUNCH WITH A VIEW. You ant see it in the picture but we sat overlooking the water - it was beautiful!

James got the chicken paella and I got the seafood paella, we did half and half and shared, along side with some garlic mushrooms - oh I do love me some mushrooms!

We got back on the tour bus and got off at the city centre, obviously took some pictures - who needs people when you have a wall and self timer ;)

Anniversary @ Barcelona, Spain - Day 4

For our anniversary, we went to Barcelona - I had already been there before but James hasn't, so we agreed to do the whole bus tour! We found a combo deal, which included the train journey to Barcelona from Santa Susanna. It cost 27 each, which is the original price for the tour bus, so that just makes our travel there, free.

The weather was ugh yas! It was 31 degrees, can't complain with that! So sitting on the open top deck was not a problem.

There are three different tour buses (blue, red and green) which yo can hop-on and hop-off when you want and to any of these three routes all day! James and I first got on to the red route, where we got of the train at.

Once looking at the map, we decided to go all the way around until we got to the main centre, to find somewhere to eat, but the tour itself was about an hour or two to go all the way around and someone was too hungry to wait so we stopped off at this shopping centre I knew of not too far from where we already was.

The viewsssss 😍

Breakfast @ Santa Susanna, Spain - Day 4

Surprisingly, for it being our anniversary, we had our first lazy lie in, well to be fair, we did stay up late to exchange presents but yeah - we missed breakfast, so before headin out to Barcelona for the day, we got breakfast and coffee, which seemed to be one of our regular places to go to when not eating or drinking at the hotel.

We ended up exchanging presents at like 5am, we was supposed to do so at 3am (that's the time we became official) but we fell asleep!

Gifts from me: (pre-taken: above)
- Frame with a large personalised train ticket (if you know, you know)
- Black personalised socks (he doesn't own any black socks)
- personalised card holder (I have that before our anniversary)

I also added another frame with a picture is me inside it haha

And lastly, a scrapbook of our first year together, with pictures, receipts and little annotations of our year together! (Which I gave last and in the morning) as I took one last picture of us with my Poloroid camera, as the last picture.

Gifts from him:

I got a beautiful heart ring from Pandora! (He got my hints of wanting a ring ;) )

James actually has another present for me, but it didn't arrive on time for our holiday - I haven't seen it yet but I do know what it is.

Dinner @ Santa Susanna Resort, Spain - Day 3

After Marineland, we got back to the hotel, freshened up, I did another dress change (I felt so naked at that time of night) and then we headed for dinner.

Tonight, James had some sort of fish with broccoli and I had the chicken paella with more chicken and spicy potatoes. It was actually good!

After dinner, we went into town to walk around and from the first night we arrived, I really wanted to get a caricature picture done of us and that is what we did!

This is us (above) as we were getting drawn haha

Marineland - Santa Susanna, Spain - Day 3

Today we planned to go to this water park called Marineland - it cost €27 each, with free travel. We got picked up in front of the hotel at 10am and dropped back up at 5pm.

Once you first walk in, you get a picture taken in front of a backdrop with the sign and a live parrot on your shoulder. I was not expecting it but it was fun. There was also a lady walking around with a huge snake, if you also wanted to take a picture with it.

Since we got there early, I think even the first people there - James & I managed to to on every water ride there and without having to wait for too long or without waiting at all. Some of the rides we were able to go together, with the two people float things they provide you with.

We even recorded some of the water rides on my GroPro, so hopefully if there good footage, I will be posting a video soon.

After all the water rides were done, there was a pool with sun beds around it, at the time there was only 2 other people there. Once we got in, we realised we were the only two left. It was amazing. It felt like it was all for us, we stayed there for a bit, took lots of pictures of course and again, recorded more under water footage.

As well as the water park, it was also a somewhat zoo, there were parrots, sea lions, Dolphins etc.

There are two shows throughout the day for each of the animals I've listed above and they are so worth watching!

James & I actually didn't watch the parrot show, due to the fact we accidentally napped by the pool (the sun was that great) but we managed to watch the sea lions and dolphin show before we had to leave. It was amazing to watch, so beautiful. I didn't take any pictures of the dolphins but I did take a video, I may post that up too.

Oh, and as our hotel is all inclusive, our hotel even provided us with a packed lunch - sandwiches, water and fruit - of course as the foodies we are, we did buy some chips there too (pretty expensive to be honest)

Dinner @ Santa Susanna Resort, Spain - Day 2

After the beach, with James rolling in sand and I getting wet - I wanted to shower and of course have a dress change before dinner ;)

For dinner we chose to have muscles, I I had carrots and peppers and James had chips with his.

Dinner is pretty standard, there was always the usuals - veg pasta, chips and then there was always a choice of either some sort of fish and meat etc. so yeah. It was all bad and it wasn't exactly the same every night.

Drinks & Pool - what else would you do after dinner? Hahaha could I please have a moment..

I WON! I have never won pool haunts James, every time we've played in Sheffield, I had never won. This holiday I've just been winning, especially in thumb war must I add! So proud I am!

Dessert @ Santa Susanna, Spain - Day 2

After spending another hour or so at the beach, we wanted to get desert, like come on, how have we not thought about getting a proper desert since we got here!

I got the Strawberry & Cream sundae and James got the Tiramisu - I would tell you the price, but I don't think that would exactly be helpful?

Oh, could I please share some photo from the beach. I just can't stop laughing!  So, James tired to be romantic and write "JB2 2015" in the sand and this is what happened..

HILARIOUS! Karma got me back for laughing, I was only dipping my feet in the water and the wave just splashed all over me. It was not fun haha
